About Us

Our work embraces all aspects of international business and commerce. We provide advocacy, advisory and arbitral services in contentious and non-contentious work. We appear in courts at all levels in England and Wales but have particular skills in off-shore jurisdictions, including:  The British Virgin Islands, The Bahamas and The Cayman Islands. Chambers also has connections with China and the Middle East.

Although we are a small chambers, we have a great deal of experience of commercial litigation and arbitration, both in the United Kingdom and abroad. Julian Malins QC has over thirty years of experience at the Bar and is an authorised Arbitrator of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, while Andrew Emery brings with him experience of acting as an adjudicator at the Financial Ombudsman Service, as well as experience at an international commercial law firm. We accept instructions from the UK and abroad and can advise on both contentious and non-contentious issues and can carry out all preparatory work required to bring a case to trial, as well as advise clients on new law, amendments to existing legislation and legal viability of clients’ new projects.
