Chuka is a dual-qualified Barrister, having been called to the Bar of England and Wales and the Bar of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. He maintains a general civil, commercial chancery, international law and international commercial arbitration practice in England and Wales and accepts instructions to advise on all aspects of Nigerian law, as he holds a current practising certificate in the Nigerian jurisdiction.

Chuka is an accomplished Regulatory and Finance-Technology professional, a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, UK (MCIArb) and a Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (Data Management and Analytics).

Prior to qualifying at the Bar, Chuka spent over 15 years, predominantly in the investment-banking sector, delivering an array of tactical technology projects across multiple asset classes.

His strong banking background, rich expertise as a technical expert and deep understanding of finance-technology, data management and analytics and cyber security enables him to provide robust bespoke solutions to legal problems with a technology element, whether as counsel, mediator or arbitrator.

Chuka has a strong research interest in the legal aspects of cyber security, including the various regulatory frameworks that underpin and promote a cyber secure environment; he is well positioned to advise clients in this regard. He has been instructed as a legal and technical consultant on projects funded by the World Bank and the Department for International Development (DfID) and sat as a sole commercial mediator in disputes involving local partners.
